SAVE THE FOREST

An up to $13,000 county permit could put an end to a Halloween tradition our community has come to love. We’re asking for your help to keep the Hogeland Family Ranch Haunted Forest alive, keep tickets affordable, and bring the scares back next year!

 

For years, the Hogeland Family Ranch Haunted Forest has been about more than just scares—it’s about bringing our community together, creating memories, and giving families and friends a fun Halloween experience they can look forward to every year.

 

Unfortunately, due to the lengthy process the county will not allow us to have the haunted forest this year and we are now facing a major challenge. The county is requiring us to pay $13,000 for a permit in order to continue the Haunted Forest in future years. For our small family-run event, that is an enormous expense. We don’t want to simply pass that cost on to our guests by raising ticket prices to a point where families can no longer afford to enjoy the experience.

 

That’s why we’re turning to our community and asking for your help. Every donation, no matter how big or small, will bring us closer to covering the permit cost and keeping the Haunted Forest affordable and accessible. Your support can help us make sure this Halloween tradition doesn’t disappear.

 

We want to come back next year with the lights on, the fog rolling, the monsters waiting, and the screams echoing through the forest!
